This note was driven out to existence when I sweared to myself(before the competition), if he get the highest award among all the competitors in the category where he belongs(professional category), surely I will make a note of appreciation for him.
Definitely, my prognosis did not fail me. He made it!
In any instance, i would like to compliment chef Jesuit Paul Nugas for waivering a taste of success onto his feet. His relentless battle for famosity tightened into more indiscreetable view. He came back abode with victory and honor.

Allow me to introduce the competition of the said event.
Annually, the finest chefs of the country come together to be acknowledged as the best chefs by joining the so called 'KUMBIRA.' It was said to be the most prestigious culinary competition in the country. The event was held in Cagayan De Oro, August 18 to 20 at the the atrium of Limketkai Center. Since the start of this, the competition is at fierce grip as always.

It is never easy to imagine that the person chosen to bring the highest award was no other than him. His struggles weren't that ordinary. He prepared for almost seven months and waited for this glamorous event unceasingly dismantled. He trained hard and perfected everything about baking. Even the slightest portion and a single angle of a rim of a cake would mean a lot to the course. And the next line is not a joke... he wrestled with the best chefs of the country.
Before his departure, he had his last words imparted to us. He narrated in front of the class of the rumors about this sickness of the people thrown against him. That he is not gonna make it. They keep on telling him negative things that suppressed him to continue the fight. But he did not succumb to the challenge of life. He argued and fought with the despises of the devil.
The urge to win is devoured by the people's negativism. And when you want to get something there comes the conspiracy of pessimism. I conjure to what a novelist has always been saying, "if you want something, all the universe conspires in your favor." The world defies the odd. Everyone seems to be a conspirator in achieving the dream.
The tendency is, people would give up their dreams in instance when they are almost at the finish line. When the dream is only a step ahead.
I personally never suspected him to win. But i always believe in his determination and the spirit to succeed. Now, his loads has taken its toll.
His achievement, particularly that 'silver award thing' means a world to me. Through this, he has taught me one of the important lesson in life. And it is taking life into chances.
Sir, if you are reading this you must have noticed someone in this world have appreciated your efforts and bouts.
We, your students proudly salute your competency! We honor you because of your dedication in teaching us that nursing subject and at the same time being a vigorous class chef. You never confused your profession as a nurse and your passion for baking.
His achievement, particularly that 'silver award thing' means a world to me. Through this, he has taught me one of the important lesson in life. And it is taking life into chances.

Thank you. This is a surprise in two folds. First, i was surprised because I never thought someone would blog about my journey to Kumbira and second, you write so well nothwithstanding your high grammatical standards. :)
If theres one important thing I learned from the whole experience, it is how you perfect your senses in a battle. We should learn how to be self secured about who we are and what we are capable of and most importantly how we resolve to continuously lose our insecurity about our capacity, our desires and our dreams. We should also endeavor to work on the things we want to happen and how it should happen and go after them confidently and unbashedly.

Thanks for bargaining with me about my preconceptions I posted to this blog. Now that you've read and approved this(and even wrote a commentary meaning of a real life's battle), it now becomes authentic knowing that the first comment of this post came from the very person who inspired into making this note possible.
